Who We Are and What We Do
Columbia County Community Health Action is a grassroots group of Columbia County, New York residents working to mobilize community members to protect ourselves and each other, and to stop the spread of COVID-19 and other health threats.
We work with local, regional and national groups to provide accurate information to our community about COVID-19, and to promote public health measures to fight it, including life-saving vaccines. We educate about misinformation and disinformation, and advocate for local adoption of research and science-based practices to counter COVID-19.
Our Mission: Columbia County Community Health Action promotes evidence-based, public health measures to save lives and reduce suffering from preventable diseases and other threats to health. We do this through education, advocacy, and networking with other caring residents and organizations in the County and region.
